Big Indian Player Ruled Out

In a major blow for India, all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the 2023 World Cup due to an ankle injury. The veteran cricketer injured his left ankle while bowling during India's fourth group stage game against Bangladesh in Pune.

Following the incident, he did not feature in India's subsequent matches, ultimately being sidelined due to not recovering in time. As a result, India have included young fast bowler Prasad Krishna in the World Cup squad as a replacement.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India has performed exceptionally well in the World Cup, winning seven consecutive matches. Although Suryakumar Yadav has braved both the heat and the cold, the resurgence of Mohammed Shami has given the Indian bowling attack a massive boost.

Additionally, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer's brilliant innings against Sri Lanka proved to be a huge positive for the Blue Team, as both the batsmen were in desperate need of a big innings to find their rhythm.

Therefore, in the most important match against South Africa, India will probably continue with the same batting order, which will consist of Rohit Sharma, Shibman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Surya Kumar Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. Numbers one to seven.

Meanwhile, even though Mohammed Siraj has been playing consistently, Indian captain Rohit Sharma recently revealed that all the seamers are fit and do not need rest. So, there is every possibility that the Men in Blue will field the same bowling line-up that they fielded in the previous game.

India's Probable Playing XI vs South Africa
